U.S. import duty & landed cost calculator.

Build a transparent estimate from the values you know: goods, freight, insurance, duty, brokerage, other fees, and an optional tax assumption.

Use this after you have a plausible HTS classification and a country-specific rate. The result is a planning estimate, not a customs assessment. Classification, origin, Chapter 99 measures, exclusions, quotas, de minimis rules, and carrier fees can change the actual amount.

What this estimate leaves out

For this U.S. estimate, duty is applied to the goods value. Separately identified international freight and insurance are added to landed cost after duty; CBP says those charges are not dutiable when their actual costs are documented. The duty-rate field is deliberately manual: an HTS number alone is not enough to determine every applicable measure. Confirm the classification, country of origin, and current rate in the USITC HTS, then review CBP guidance on freight and insurance and CBP import guidance. A customs broker can advise on a binding classification or entry-specific treatment.
