To qualify for annual vacation time you must have been employed at least 12 continuous months and worked at least 90% of the available working hours. Vacation pay, though, is owed after just five work days, whether or not you have an annual vacation entitlement. Vacation must be permitted within ten months of qualifying, and vacation pay is paid at least one day before the vacation or within a week of termination.
