Bracket thresholds at a glance

Each rate applies only to the slice of taxable income inside its bracket. The columns show the top of each of the first four brackets; income above the last threshold is taxed at 33%.

The lowest federal rate fell from 15% to 14% on 1 July 2025, so the CRA gives 14.5% as the rate for the whole 2025 tax year. For 2026 the rate is 14%.

Between the two basic personal amount figures, the enhanced amount phases out gradually as net income rises through the 29% bracket.
