Epoxy coverage calculator.

Work out how much epoxy a garage floor, tabletop flood coat or deep pour needs, with waste, edge and void volume, an A:B kit split and whole-kit rounding. Your product data sheet always wins.

How the epoxy math works

Floor coatings use the ARCOR rule that one US gallon covers 1604 divided by the thickness in mils, in square feet, at 100% solids. Flood coats and deep pours use volume: area times thickness in cubic inches, divided by 231 cubic inches per US gallon. Volume solids, extra edge or void volume and waste are then applied, and the total is rounded up to whole kits and split by your A:B ratio.

Source: ARCOR Material Coverage sheet (1604 ÷ mils formula, theoretical coverage, 15–20% waste, volume solids).

Maximum pour depth per lift and cure times vary by product and are not assumed here: enter the max lift from your data sheet to split a deep pour. Coverage is theoretical; porous concrete, texture and temperature raise real usage. A coverage figure from the product data sheet overrides the theoretical figure. Ratios are treated as by volume; check whether your product is mixed by weight.
